Whovians are accustomed to experiencing fear at the sight of a Dalek, the most perfect killing machine in all of the Whoniverse.
But these Daleks won't be doing any extermination; they're made from cake.

World-class pastry chef Dawn Butler, owner of UK-based novelty cake shop Dinkydoodle Designs, baked these edible models of the Doctor's sworn enemies for a wedding that coincided with Doctor Who's recent 50th anniversary special episode.
Butler told Mashable that each cake stands at about 5 feet tall and took more than a week to create with three assistants.
The pastry chef says this is the largest project she has ever undertaken -- even bigger than her last masterpiece, below.

Butler also teased a top secret upcoming project set for April, which may involve a life-sized baby elephant and a waterfall made entirely of cake.
