The dancing man who was bodyshamed on 4chan earlier this year was celebrated at one of Hollywood's hottest clubs on Saturday night.
The man, Sean O'Brien, was skewered online after photos of him dancing at a concert surfaced on 4chan, an anonymous imageboard website known for its role in the nude celebrity photo leak last summer.
When a group of women saw the anonymous taunting, they sprung into action, promising to find the dancing man and throw him a huge party in Los Angeles. Their goal: Make it clear that bullying is not OK.
Fueled by social media, their efforts snowballed. The women found O'Brien in Liverpool, England after using the hashtag #FindDancingMan on Twitter and the party logistics jumped into high gear.

Electronic music artist Moby offered to DJ. The Avalon, a historic nightclub in Hollywood, agreed to host the party. People started wearing shirts that said "I Am Dancing Man" and O'Brien began tweeting as @Dancingmanfound.

He also danced with singer Meghan Trainor on the Today show in New York before his big bash.
"This is amazing, this really is amazing," O'Brien said of the planned party while on the Today show. "There will always be bad, there will always be bad in the world, but there's far more good people."
The trip to Hollywood was a first for O'Brien, who said he likes to dance a lot, despite not having the best moves.

Monica Lewinsky, who gave an inspiring TED talk about bullying in Vancouver in March, took the mic as the party got going.

Cassandra Fairbanks, one of the women who originally began searching for O'Brien, also spoke at the dance party, which featured a red carpet and paparazzi.

Several attendees shared an inside look into the party on social media. Not only did the party honor O'Brien, but it also sparked tens of thousands of dollars in donations to anti-bullying charities.
