Dancing With the Stars has a brand new champ: Bindi Irwin.
This is not a surprise, of course.
The Aussie activist and daughter of late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin has been a favorite all season, winning over viewers with her bubbly personality, positive outlook, ability to drive us to tears with those tributes to her dad and skills on the dance floor.
Backstreet Boy Nick Carter didn't go down easily, though. The singer ended his Dancing run with a perfect score on a salsa-tango fusion that really highlighted how far he'd come since that first dance.
Alek and Lindsay, too, had a respectable performance, but were far from the strongest pair going into the evening. They came in third, in the least shocking elimination of the season.
Predictable as the 17-year-old's Mirror Ball victory was, it was only right. She's easily among the most impressive winners in the DWTS history books, especially considering she isn't a professional athlete and didn't have a ton (if any) dancing experience going into the contest.
