Warning: This post contains spoilers about the season finale of Dancing With the Stars.

No disrespect to Riker Lynch, but Rumer Willis had to win the mirrorball trophy this season.

Certainly, both finalists had the chops to win -- Riker's Paso Doble the other night was fantastic, but there was something about Rumer Willis that simply captivated the Dancing audience this year.

Not only was she the best dancer, hitting the floor each week with remarkable grace and poise, but she was also incredibly likable, open and relatable.

Yes, DWTS should not be a popularity contest, but as we've learned before, the dancers never lose when they present their authentic selves to the viewers because that comes through on the dance floor.

And in a stunning result -- one that rarely happens when it comes to reality competition shows -- the majority seems to be happy for Rumer and partner Val.

@TheRue congrats, Rumer. I was rooting for you from day 1. You are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! An enchanting dancer, singer, actress. God bless!— Becca (@Radwheeler9) May 20, 2015
