LONDON-- James Bond was in Star Wars. The James Bond. Actual James Bond.

Yep, Hollywood A-lister Daniel Craig reportedly took a step out of the limelight to lend his acting skills to the hugely challenging and potentially life-changing role of Stormtrooper in the franchise's new movie.

According to Entertainment Weekly -- where Craig once denied claims that he had done a cameo in the movie -- a source close to the actor now says that Craig does appear in The Force Awakens. Why? "He did it for sh*ts and grins.”

Craig reportedly plays the Stormtrooper who holds Daisy Ridley's character, Rey, captive, releasing her when she performs a Jedi mind trick on him.

If these reports are correct, Craig's lines are “I’ll tighten those restraints, scavenger scum,” and “I’ll remove these restraints and leave this cell with the door open.”

Mashable has contacted a representative for Daniel Craig to confirm reports and is currently awaiting a response.
