I present you, the fruits of your binge watching efforts, Netflixers: Daredevil is coming back for a second season.

Marvel and the streaming network that owns your weekends confirmed the news Tuesday.

The second season will debut in 2016.

It is not yet known, however, whether the second season will debut before or after Marvel's Luke Cage, which is also set for next year, but since Cage has been in the works longer, a safe bet would be that Matt Murdock won't return until after. But that's just a guess.

Meanwhile, the renewal itself is great news for Marvel and Netflix because -- other than the obvious "Woohoos!" that go along with a successful show -- they now have a strong base on which to build the rest of the shows that will come out of their partnership. It's now up to A.K.A. Jessica Jones, set for debut later this year, to continue that momentum.

Daredevil's second season will also have to live up to the praise that's surrounded it's freshman season, but it'll have to do it without showrunner Steven S. Deknight, who is departing the series due to another project.

Congrats to my amazing cast and crew of the official green light for season 2 of #Daredevil! Could not be prouder!— Steven DeKnight (@stevendeknight) April 22, 2015

Love my peeps at Marvel and Netflix. Looking forward to working together again when I'm available! Had a real blast!— Steven DeKnight (@stevendeknight) April 22, 2015

“While previous commitments unfortunately prevent me from continuing on with Daredevil into its second season," DeKnight said in a statement. "I could not be happier that Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez are carrying the torch. They were invaluable collaborators during our first season, and I for one can't wait to see what they do with the show moving forward"

Petrie (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy) will serve as showrunners for Season 2.
