Most of us binge-watched Daredevil's debut season way back in April. But as filming gets underway on the second season, Netflix has a special treat for the fans: a peek at the Man Without Fear's superhero duds.

Yes, we got a taste of the horned, red-suited Daredevil just before Season 1 came to an end. But this tweet from the series' official Twitter feed makes it clear that we'll be seeing plenty more of the fully-suited vigilante in April 2016, when the second season arrives.

Like many of Marvel's recent Hollywood takes on iconic superhero styles, the Daredevil costume on TV isn't quite the same as the one that appears in the comics. The most notable change is the absence of the "DD" logo on the chest -- as you can clearly see here. The black armor accents that give the Netflix costume a multi-layered feel also diverge from the comic's all-red, one-piece bodysuit.

Daredevil's first season established a strong foundation for Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) superhero origin story, and Season 2 seems poised to plant the landing with a deeper dive into the Marvel-verse. We already know that Frank "The Punisher" Castle (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung) will be showing up, marking the first appearance for these characters in the studio's post-Iron Man canon. Who knows what other surprises could be in store?
