This time last year we told you about DARPA's smart bullet -- a terrifying piece of technology that has the ability to correct itself in mid-air to reach its target.

As if that wasn't scary enough, a new video from the government agency shows another test, conducted in February, in which a person who has never used a sniper rifle easily hits a moving target.

The .50-caliber size smart bullet is the product of a program called Extreme Accuracy Tasked Ordnance (EXACTO). In a statement on the agency's website, DARPA program manager Jerome Dunn called the bullet "a major breakthrough and opens the door to what could be possible in future guided projectiles across all calibers.”
