Last night, Jeopardy low-key called out that brooding, all-black-everything phase that almost everyone who has a heart has experienced -- the emo subculture.

If you're wondering what exactly marks someone as a member of this group, it's simple. According to Jeopardy a person is considered "emo" if he or she has bangs, wears black skinny jeans, and likes Dashboard Confessional.

This morning, Dashboard Confessional -- a band with a unique sound that's labeled Acoustic/Rock/Indie on their Facebook page -- posted a photo of the Jeopardy clue to Facebook and Instagram with the caption: "Just on Jeopardy! #emo"
