This dashcam footage shows the moment a hooded man lunges at a car, screaming, on an isolated road in the middle of the night. It's enough to send shivers down your spine.
The terrifying event unfolded as a man drove his vehicle down Lake Road in the city of Newcastle, Australia, at 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Newcastle Herald. As he inches closer, a strange figure standing unusually still in the middle of the road comes into focus -- a man wearing a hoodie and staring down -- in front of a vehicle. As the driver slows down to pass the man, he jumps suddenly towards the car, screaming loudly.
The car with the dashcam can be seen speeding off with tyres screeching. The unidentified driver told the Herald his wife and her friend were travelling in the car behind, but he couldn't get in touch with them. The women were subjected to the same horror.
