There's no better way to learn the family trade than by practicing on dear old dad.
Bob Bellomo, who owns 3rd Eye Tattoo in Largo, Florida, was so proud of his 4-year-old daughter Chloe's drawing skills, he thought he would teach her a lesson on being a tattoo artist.
Chloe took a little time to draw a simple design and practiced holding the tattoo gun, getting used to controlling its weight, before Bellomo allowed her to use it with a needle and ink.
Bellomo posted pictures of him getting tattooed by Chloe on Facebook on Oct. 21, and his results are pretty good, especially for a beginner who's barely in kindergarten. Bellomo might have a tattoo wunderkind on his hands.
Chloe's sweet, minimal strawberry design ended up a little wobbly, but Bellomo doesn't seem to mind. According to his Facebook post, he intends to jazz it up a little with a Wu Tang "W" in the middle. "Because Chloe sings 'bah bah black sheep have u berry wu'," Bellomo said.
