Another day, another wild story from the Foo Fighters' North American tour.

Lead singer Dave Grohl keeps finding new ways to surprise his audiences, from performing on a giant metal throne to letting a superfan play the drums. This time, it's Grohl's orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lew C. Schon, who's getting a shot in the spotlight.

The singer invited his doctor to hop up onstage and sing a cover of the White Stripes song "Seven Nation Army" during a show at Fenway Park in Boston - and the MD did not disappoint. Dr. Schon gave it his all, reciting every lyric with punk precision.

"That's actually my doctor," Grohl cheers afterward. "What a badass!"
