LONDON -- Just when you think it can't be possible for David Beckham to get any cooler, he goes and does something like this.
Not content with being a footballing legend, raising money for charity, and getting the 2015 vote for sexiest man alive, the sculpted ball-kicker went one step further recently when he decided to go above and beyond to help an elderly man being treated by a paramedic at the side of the road in London.

Catherine Maynard, a senior paramedic in London's Cycle Response Unit, was with an elderly patient when she encountered the former England midfielder. The man had fallen in the road, and Maynard was keeping him warm on the pavement while waiting for an ambulance to take him to the hospital.
"All of a sudden, I looked up and saw someone who looked like David Beckham walking past us," Maynard was quoted as saying in a press release sent to Mashable.
"He said hello and got in his car. I said to the man I was treating, ‘I think that was David Beckham.’
"Ten minutes later, he came back with a cup of coffee for me and a tea for the patient."
Maynard said both her and the patient were amused and flattered by Beckham's random act of kindness.
"It was awful cycling around in the cold today and I couldn’t believe it when he came back with some hot drinks," she continued. "I was so chuffed."
Obviously it's hard for us mere mortals to live up to Beckham's level of awesomeness, but there's now a hashtag for anyone who wants to try...
