Another day, another public mishap for David Cameron.

The British prime minister is facing criticism once again, after the staff behind the official 10 Downing Street Facebook page was caught digitally doctoring an old photo of him to include a Remembrance poppy.

Instead of using a photo of Cameron wearing the poppy that commemorates fallen soldiers, 10 Downing Street seems to have Photoshopped a poppy onto an existing photo.

Has the official 10 Downing Street Facebook page photoshopped a poppy onto David Cameron for their new picture? pic.twitter.com/inLOOVcR5G— Dylan H Morris. (@dylanhm) November 2, 2015

They definitely have. Here's the original picture from July. Embarrassing. pic.twitter.com/SX9xOJsjor— Dylan H Morris. (@dylanhm) November 2, 2015

The photo was shortly removed and replaced with a photo of Cameron actually wearing a poppy, and a spokeswoman from Downing Street told International Business Times UK, "It was an oversight by a member of the team and a new picture has been put up."

Too little, too late -- this wouldn't be the Internet if the incident didn't take off on Twitter, appropriately dubbed #Poppygate.

I see NO evidence that David Cameron’s poppy pic was Photoshopped. People need to stop jumping to conclusions. pic.twitter.com/xISpGwESD1— Tom Phillips (@flashboy) November 2, 2015

All jokes aside, the Photoshop job is a considerable improvement from the one in 2013.
