LONDON -- If there's one thing politicians should have learned by now, it's that any photo they share of themselves on the Internet -- especially one that depicts them looking intently at something -- is almost guaranteed to be Photoshopped.

On Tuesday morning, David Cameron posted a photo of himself watching Tim Peake's space launch. The images showed him staring at a TV screen with a slight smile on his face.

It was great to watch Tim Peake blast off on his mission to join the International Space Station. pic.twitter.com/pqAw0ETuok— David Cameron (@David_Cameron) December 15, 2015

Minutes later, Twitter was full of images like this.

Unsurprisingly, there was one key theme that kept recurring.

Yep. It was only ever going to end one way, wasn't it?
