LONDON -- Prime Minister David Cameron and Chinese President Xi Jinping headed to the pub Thursday night for a pint and a spot of world-leader banter.
After a long three days of banquets, meeting the queen, negotiating £30 billion ($46 billion) in trade deals and dodging protestors, the two had pints and fish and chips at The Plough at Cadsden. This is the same pub where Cameron left behind his then 8-year-old daughter Nancy in 2012, which no one is going to let him forget anytime soon.
"I've been in here a few times," Cameron said. "I'm not leaving my family here today."

He then told Xi that his daughter still tells the story about how her dad left her in the pub (Samantha Cameron came back for her 15 minutes later). "She's coped very well," he said.
Xi was keen to tuck into some fish and chips at an English country pub because he wants to be seen as a man of the people, the South China Morning Post reported.

The two smashed it at the pub for about 20 minutes before going to a formal dinner with their wives.
The two leaders will visit Manchester on Friday, the last day of Xi's trip to the UK. They are set to agree business deals between China and the UK's "northern powerhouse." There have been protests over China's human rights record throughout his trip.
