Nicole Arbour, the comedian behind the viral "Dear Fat People" YouTube video, recently sat down on The View to do some damage control. It did not go well.

Almost immediately, Joy Behar digs into the video, telling Arbour why she found it offensive.

"If I'm going to do a joke about a fat person, I'm going to say I'm fat first," she says. "You're not fat, that's the problem."

She also challenged Arbour to put the fat people jokes into a standup routine and "see how many laughs you got."

Arbour defended herself, saying she wouldn't be getting this much flak if she were a man, because male comedians "can make fun of everything."

Despite the heavy social media backlash and the tough questions from the View cast, Arbour still isn't very apologetic about the original video, continuing to defend it as satire.
