The DelayMirror is a video screen that provides a continual three-second delayed feed of what's in front of it. The simple idea results in an unusual and surprising retail experience for shoppers trying on clothes. Shoppers are able to spin around and glance at their backs or even see how they look with their eyes closed.

Being able to view oneself from new angles could lead to more informed purchases and a greater level of consumer satisfaction. The surreal experience, however, is a bit like watching a digital doppelganger wearing the same clothes as you and doing exactly what you were doing three seconds ago.

The project was developed by ComQi in conjunction with John Paul Bichard of Creative Advisor Group. Max Stevens-Guille, CTO at ComQi, explained that the "DelayMirror provides a magical experience for shoppers."
