Add another amazing Internet coincidence to the list of WTF moments. With 80 billion-ish people online (estimation), weird flukes shouldn't be that rare, but how often do these moments involve the coolest time traveling car and a raging fire?
Redditor mike_stifle posted a photo of a DeLorean cruising down a Chicago highway in r/chicago. Within two hours, the owner of the DeLorean, user coreysmoo, commented:
HAHA! That's me in my DeLorean! I take 55 everyday.
It's interesting to note that you took a picture of me in my car at the same time as I was taking this picture of the truck fire!
Essentially, the two users snapped the same photo at the same time from different perspectives. Then, thanks to the network effect of Reddit, they found each other on the Internet.
Cool, eh?
