Nailed It: Demi Lovato Slays 'Give Me Love' Bridge in Duet With Ed Sheeran

Well, this is impressive.

Fast-forward to the 3:23 mark in this "Give Me Love" duet, featuring Demi Lovato and Ed Sheeran, when the pair launches into the passionate bridge. Lovato takes Sheeran's song to another level, particularly at 3:40, with powerful Janis Joplin-esque raspy growls.

"Skyscraper" singer Lovato joined "Lego House" crooner Sheeran for the performance Monday night at 104.3 MYfm's My Big Night Out at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Afterward, Sheeran sang Lovato's praises on Twitter to his 9.6 million followers:

Sang give me love onstage tonight with @ddlovato and it was super awesome. What a champ— Ed Sheeran (@edsheeran) June 17, 2014

This isn't Lovato's first crack at "Give Me Love." She covered it earlier this month:

"Give Me Love" was the sixth single from Sheeran's debut album from 2012. The song's music video, below, has attracted more than 143 million views on YouTube since 2012.

Sheeran is busy promoting his sophomore album, X, which comes out June 23, though he's releasing a new song from it on YouTube every day until then. On Monday and Tuesday, he delivered "Bloodstream" and "Afire Love," two thumping slow jams.
