The World Health Organization reports that more than 350 million people suffer from depression, and yet there is so much many of us don't understand about it.

For Episode 21 of The Medical Tales Retold, Nick Seluk of The Awkward Yeti drew an informative and entertaining comic that was submitted by Sarah Flanigan, in hopes of shedding some light on what it's like to live with chronic depression and anxiety.

Despite daily struggles with motivation, emotions and energy, there's always a glimmer of hope that you'll feel better.
