In our latest Ask a Dev video, iOS architect Kevin Harwood discusses what the Apple Watch means for developers.

Apple finally unveiled in early September that its long-rumored wearable will be available in 2015. They also confirmed it will run on its own custom operating system, Watch OS. While there are still a lot of unanswered questions for developers out there, we have a decent understanding of what the device is and how people will interact with it.

The digital crown, for example, provides a new way to interact through levels of content; there's now even support for new types of gestures that measure force.

If you're a developer, it's time to start dreaming up new ways to leverage wearables in people's daily lives. Maybe the future really is all about the wrist.
