According to the Digg blog, it looks like Digg has decided to join with the DataPortability camp.

Enhancements that have been put in to place, but are invisible to the naked eye include the XFN open standard which will make it easier for other sites to recognize who your friends are on Digg, and they've also added in RDFa support to allow for more dynamic web pages down the road for the entire Internet.  The third part of the new initiative includes more support for hCard which allow more connectivity between sites to allow your favorite friend-following sites to get a better idea of what everyone is doing.
