We love Pownce, but we still can't miss the irony here: people are using the service to solicit Diggs. With a closely-connected group of people who are highly likely to be Digg users, why wouldn't you?
Below, some examples. I've removed the identifying details and replaced the avatars with the blank one: no need to single anyone out. These are all public posts from "old skool" users, however, and the tactic seems to work.
On balance, I think it's harmless. But as Digg tries to prevent too much lobbying on its own site, it's noteworthy to see it appearing on Rose's other property.
