Digg Reader Lands on iOS

Digg Reader, which launched in beta earlier this week, has made its way to iOS. An update to the Digg app on Thursday now brings the new RSS service to mobile.

Instead of a standalone app, the reader is offered within the existing Digg app for iPhone. The service pulls articles from your favorite publishers and blogs, so you can keep up with news happening across the web. Users can "digg" feeds to stay on top of trending content, too.

The news comes as more companies race to fill the upcoming voice of Google Reader, which will shut down on July 1. AOL Reader launched on Monday, while Facebook is rumored to be experimenting with its own RSS feed.
