Today, the social news site has debuted new sharing options that can be found on every story: the ability to Tweet it and the option to share it on Facebook, as well as an email to friend feature. All of these options point users to Digg’s short URL for the story, which, will result in users seeing the infamous DiggBar if they’re logged into Digg and have opted in to the feature.

So what does this move mean? Likely that you’ll be seeing a lot more Digg URLs on Twitter and Facebook, as Digg members utilize the one-click options for sharing stories they find on the site on their social network of choice. It also means that Digg’s “Shout” feature is gone, as announced at Digg’s Townhall last week.
