The first Digg Townhall hosted by Jay Adelson and Kevin Rose is coming up Monday on UStream this Monday, and folks I've talked to both at Digg.com and UStream.TV are expecting the event to be one of the largest in the history of either company (and will certainly be a stress test for any of the servers involved with the process).

The topics (voted on using the Digg process) have been decided on, and are expected to be sticking mostly to the topics of cesnsorship within the site, algorithm questions, and buries becoming public, and of course the all important question as to whether Digg is up for sale.

Folks familiar with the organizing of the event are telling me that due to the projected size of the viewership, a chat room would probably "with that many people [be] unproductive."  We've decided to live-blog the event here, which will serve a few purposes.  First, it'll hone my liveblogging skills, as I go on the road next week.  Secondly, since we'll be using CoverItLive to liveblog it here on the site, it'll test the limits of their system as well as provide a platform to discuss some of the issues raised (as CoverItLive has a feedback system built in, albeit a moderated system).
