Everyone knows the best part about Halloween is the costumes.

Sike. It's the candy.

The hard part is falling in love with a Halloween treat that's rudely pulled from the shelves.

Here are some discontinued Halloween delights that will remain forever in our hearts.

1. Nestlé Wonder Ball

Wonder Ball was the epitome of 1990s candy. The chocolate ball was hollow on the inside and filled with toys or candy. Wonder Ball was discontinued when it was suggested that the candy was a choking hazard for small children.

2. Ghost Dots

Ghost Dots were the first Halloween Dots to be released back in 2006. Ghost Dots maintained the original Dots flavors, but were colored a translucent light green, making it difficult to discern one flavor from another based on appearance alone. RIP, Ghost Dots.

3. Bat Dots

These black dots had a unique and surprising taste. Released in 2009, Bat Dots were not black licorice flavor, to many consumers' surprise. In fact, Bat Dots tasted like blood orange and were softer than the normal Dots candy.

4. Candy Corn Dots

Also released in 2009, Candy Corn Dots looked and tasted like real candy corn. How can you resist a gummy candy corn? American public, we didn't appreciate this enough when we had it.

5. Hubba Bubba Halloween Fun Sized

This fun-sized bubble gum is a no-go this year. You'll have to get your bubble-blowing on elsewhere.

6. Hershey Kisses Candy Corn

These sweet, festive candies had some loyal fans but not enough to keep them in circulation. Released in 2008 as a part of Hershey's Harvest collection, the candies were discontinued after fall 2011.

7. Hershey Kissables

On the topic of discontinued Hershey's candies, we seriously miss Hershey Kissables. These adorable, colorful candies were crunchy and all around delicious. Their reign in the candy world was short, as they were pulled from stores in 2009 after just four years.
