LOS ANGELES -- Bethesda officially announced the sequel to stealthy RPG Dishonored on Sunday, though a not-so-stealthy technical error leaked the game to fans a day earlier.

Dishonored 2 takes place in the same universe as the previous game, with the Empire of the Isles again in jeopardy, according to Arkane Studios heads Raphael Colantonio and Harvey Smith.

While Smith and Colantonio were light on the details during Bethesda’s E3 press conference on Sunday night, we saw a new assassin join last game’s masked main character Corvo Attano, the Empress Emily Baldwin. Her throne was seized by a mysterious usurper about 15 years after the original game.

The game will bring in the same variety of player choice as its predecessor, which was praised for allowing you to finish the missions violently, stealthily or even without killing anyone. Emily and Corvo offer players a variety of different magical powers so they can use their imaginations to tackle different missions.

Dishonored 2 was accidentally leaked one day before its announcement after a hot microphone broadcast Bethesda's press conference plans on Twitch.

The game has no firm release date, but will be out spring 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. You can watch the trailer above.
