It wasn't just Sleeping Beauty itching for a nap at Disneyland's 24-hour celebration kicking off its 60th anniversary events.
Thousands of super fans, camped out since 6 p.m. Thursday night, officially entered the park at 6 a.m. Friday to spend all day and night at the Anaheim, California amusement park.
“When you’re tired, just find a bench and knock out,” John Valerio, a Santa Clara resident, told the Orange County Register. “It’s an absolute once-in-a-lifetime experience."
Other drowsy parkgoers opted for a trip to Starbucks. The line for the coffee shop snaked down the block at one point.

Disneyland reached its capacity--65,000 people--at 2:30 p.m. PT, and remained closed off to new guests for several hours. Disney California Adventure was open, however.
This isn't the first time Disney has opened up the park, and the neighboring Disney California Adventure, for 24 hours, but on Friday guests were in for special attractions designed specifically for the anniversary. Paint the Night, a parade featuring 1.5 million LED lights made its way down Main Street, while the nightly fireworks show got a major revamp. Images of Disney characters were projected on Sleeping Beauty's castle and rides throughout the park--an image of Nemo was set to swim around the Matterhorn ride.
Visitors to the neighboring parks attempting 24-hour runs shared photos from their Disneyland and Disney California Adventure marathons on social media.
Many included caffeine and tired faces
