How Do We Close the Diversity Gap in Tech Entrepreneurship? [VIDEO]

Rising tides in the startup world have not lifted all boats equally. According to recent research, only about 1% of entrepreneurs who receive funding from venture capitalists are black.

That disparity -- and what�s being done about it -- was the subject of a CNN �Black in America� special that aired last year on the cable network.

We caught up with some of the participants in the program earlier this month at SXSW to get an update on the topic and explore what progress, if any, has come about since the documentary aired.

Joining our panel was Wayne Sutton, who co-founded the NewMe Accelerator program, and two of the entrepreneurs that participated: Hank Williams of Kloud.co and Hajj Flemings of GoKit.
