Domize, however, has outdone itself and taken domain search a step further with its Power Search feature. It's an advanced command-based search system for domains that works by using brackets to encompass various search terms.
Say you want to create a blog on Twitter - you probably want to include words like Tweet, Twit or blog. Instead of checking each domain combination individually, you can type the terms in brackets to do it all at once. For example, a search of "[twitter, tweet, twi]blog" reveals domain name information for twitterblog, tweetblog, and twiblog on multiple domains.
Power Search does not stop there, however. It includes a wide variety of useful commands. Here are some of our favorites:
[vwl] - Test a domain name with the 5 English vowels, i.e. bl[vwl]g would display domain name results for both blog and blug.
[alpha] - Tests every letter in the English alphabet
[color] - Places in the name of common colors
[digit] - Displays results with numerical digits 0-9
[ending] - Searches results with some of the most common English word endings (i.e. er, ster).
[verb] - Searches common verbs
Domize's Power Search also comes with a bulk feature which will load, search, and check domain names from lists on any webpage. This gives anyone the ability to write down a long list of domain ideas and search them all for availability in one search. Domize now also includes a starring feature that allows users to save domain names for future reference with a single click.
