Neckbeards, rejoice.

PepsiCo heard you like Doritos chips and Mountain Dew soda, so they took Doritos flavor and put it in your Mountain Dew.

Yes, seriously.

The dastardly concoction was spotted by a Reddit user called, perfectly, joes_nipples, at Kent State University. Better yet, said concoction is apparently being called Dewitos. Just look at this monstrosity:

Nipples reported that the Doritos-flavored Mountain Dew was served at "room temperature," and tasted "like a weird mix of Mountain Dew flavor and Doritos. Like if you shoved a handful of Doritos in your mouth and chugged some Dew at the same time."

But Nipples added, "It honestly wasn't that disgusting. It tasted like orange with a Doritos after taste. It tasted like straight Doritos afterwards though. Weirdest thing I've ever drunken."

Before you call shenanigans, read the following statement that PepsiCo sent to Quartz; it would appear this is not a hoax.

We are always testing out new flavors of Mountain Dew, and giving our fans a voice in helping decide on the next new product has always been important to us. We opened up the DEW flavor vault and gave students a chance to try this Doritos-inspired flavor as part of a small program at colleges and universities.

PepsiCo did not immediately respond to Mashable's list of follow-up questions -- because you know we have so many follow-up questions.
