Two rats, one slice of cold pizza and a gripping fight for the title of reigning pizza rat champion.
That was the scene down on the tracks of a New York subway station on Thursday night, where Instagram user Jonathen Liu captured the showdown.

The clip shows one rat gnawing happily on a slice of pizza when another rat runs in to steal his food. He manages to drag it further down the track, before the first rat makes a triumphant return, stealing back what is rightfully his.
One question remains: Who would throw a perfectly good slice of pizza onto the tracks in the first place?
