Except for his surprise appearance at the Oceans Eleven red carpet premiere, Brad Pitt's younger sibling, Doug, has tasted little of the celebrity life.
Until now. In a Virgin Mobile Australia ad that's already racked up a quarter of a million views since it was posted to YouTube five days ago, the younger Pitt introduces us to his "regular guy" lifestyle: Washing his minivan, building a birdhouse, mowing the front lawn of his cookie-cutter suburban home.
At the end of the ad, a voice-over chimes, "Virgin Mobile believes in a fair go for all, and want to give Doug a taste of his brother's lifestyle."
The message? Virgin offers great deals on phones and calling plans -- on a related microsite, it advertises its offers on the HTC One S, the Samsung Galaxy SIII and one of its larger data plans -- whether you're a celebrity, a celebrity's sibling or a regular person.
