Posthumous books keep bringing Dr. Seuss to life.

On Tuesday, Random House published What Pet Should I Get?, based on a recently rediscovered manuscript that Seuss's wife, Audrey Geisel and secretary, Claudia Prescott, found among his papers. It was likely written in the 1950s or '60s, but was never published until now -- more than two decades after the author, whose real name was Theodor Geisel, died in 1991.

Because this is Dr. Seuss we're talking about, What Pet Should I Get? is already a bestseller on Amazon.

However, this is far from the first Dr. Seuss book to get the posthumous release treatment. The author was so prolific that several of his books have been released well after his death. Here are five titles to check out after What Pet Should I Get?.
