LOS ANGELES -- Netflix and Hulu's loss is Amazon Prime's gain.

Seasons one through eight of popular BBC series Dr.Who will again be available to stream -- this time exclusively on Amazon.

The company said Monday the show will be among its March offerings for Prime customers.

The news comes just a few weeks after the BBC pulled the long-running time travel series from Netflix and Hulu, disappointing millions of fans in the U.S.

Last year, the BBC confirmed it was looking to launch a streaming service for U.S. and Canadian viewers. However, there has yet to be an official announcement, and the BBC hasn't given any indication that it is going forward with the service.

The BBC also said in January that Doctor Who Season 10 won't be broadcast until spring 2017.

Also coming to Prime Video in March: The second season of Amazon Studios' original series Bosch along with two additional new titles that have since become available for purchase through Amazon Video: Carol and The Afghan.
