If you're a droner, you've probably already taken some dronies -- and didn't even realize that was a thing.
But it is, and before you had a chance to shake your head at the word "dronies," or the act of taking them for that matter, this guy went and made one that will be hard to top.
His name is Alex Chacon, a videographer and traveler who created the video of his trip to the Mexican Gulf Coast state of Veracruz. It's a stunning mix of aerial photography and precision edits, and there is little doubt that we'll be seeing this kind of thing for weddings, graduations and kids' birthday parties very soon.
