A Texas-based Kickstarter campaign is promoting DropShades, audio-responsive glasses that dance to the beat of music via sound-reactive technology. The rave accessories tap a tiny microphone connected to a signal processor to translate incoming sounds across six horizontal bars and LED lights.
Powered by AAA batteries, the glasses reportedly groove for six hours straight. "The effect is an audio responsive light show for everyone to enjoy," explain the creators. At time of writing, DropShades had raised more than $30,000, doubling its first stretch goal of $15,000.
