Witness the greatest human saga of all time.

A giant puddle in Drummond Central in Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK has caused confusion, panic, anger and a full range of other emotions.

At the time of writing, more than 19,000 people on Periscope were captivated by the intense drama of watching people try to get around this body of water. You can find the live feed here (it appears the account hosting the stream is a digital marketing agency).

People are doing their best long jumps.

They're climbing to death-defying heights.

People on bikes could really care less, honestly.

Some are braving the water and potentially ruined footwear and are just wading through the puddle.

Someone even left a "wet floor" sign.

And with every hop, skip and jump, there are plenty of commenters lending their support.

Another person brought a surf board, but didn't exactly use it to their advantage.

“Candidates, a question from twitter. If you approached the #DrummondPuddleWatch, would you jump it or walk through?"— Elise Foley (@elisefoley) January 6, 2016
