There's no hope with dope -- or with bar fights, as Saved By the Bell's Dustin Diamond recently learned. The former child star has been sentenced to four months in jail for stabbing a man in a Wisconsin bar last Christmas.
Judge Paul Mallory of Port Washington, Wisconsin, ordered Diamond to report to jail Saturday. The actor also got 15 months' probation.
All things considered, it could've been worse; Diamond was cleared of a felony charge last month, though he was found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon and disorderly conduct.
"I sincerely apologize to everyone involved," Diamond said at his hearing Thursday. "This was the single most terrifying experience of my life ... This is all I've been able to think about for the last six months."
