Electronic Arts (EA) is buying Atlanta-based Super Computer International (SCI), which is a provider of gaming client apps and software tools for PCs. SCI may be best known for its PlayLinc application, which is an online game browsing and messaging platform that includes social networking components like instant messaging, buddy tracking, team management and VoIP. No financial details regarding the acquisition were disclosed.
