Even astronauts in space celebrate Earth Day.
Crew members on the International Space Station have been honoring their home planet today by beaming back amazing images of Earth from space.
NASA astronaut Terry Virts, one-year space station mission crewmember Scott Kelly and European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti have all posted awe-inspiring photos of Earth on Twitter. Virts shared a Vine of auroras dancing above the planet, while Kelly and Cristoforetti released other stunning views of the planet from above. Check out those and others below:

NASA is also asking people to post their favorite photos of Earth and tag them with #NoPlaceLikeHome on social media. Some astronauts currently on the ground, plenty of space scientists and other members of the public have posted a variety of pictures using that hashtag to celebrate Earth today.
