Now is the time to act.

More than 40,000 diplomats, experts and advocates, including more than 135 world leaders, are currently in Paris to take part in the U.N. Climate Summit in Paris, known as COP21.

The goal? A global climate treaty, involving all nations, to help the world avoid the worst consequences of global warming.

But world leaders aren't the only ones with a role to play in this important moment in history.

On Dec. 7, Earth to Paris will bring together experts, advocates and CEOs to discuss creative and impactful climate solutions to inspire bold, meaningful action for people and the planet. The event is designed to allow ordinary citizens to have their voices heard by offering a way to get their questions answered, find out what people are doing on the ground and get behind the scenes of the negotiations.

Sessions will cover topics ranging from saving endangered animals and how climate change is affecting human rights to the ways that technology can be used as a climate solution.

The full program will be broadcast live on the Earth to Paris website, and you can follow along on Twitter with @mashableevents and @socialgood.

There will also be a day-long Facebook Live-athon featuring interviews with activists, leaders and celebrities like Deepak Chopra, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Jane Goodall, hosted on both Mashable's Facebook account and on each influencer's Facebook account.
