Funny or Die, responsible for, among other things, making Will Farrell and his tough-talking toddler landlord an extra bit more popular with Internet folk, launched in April 2007. Many months later, it followed that success with Shred or Die, a website fronted by Tony Hawk. And more recent still was the unveiling of Eat Drink or Die.
While some portions of Eat Drink or Die are tinged with humor, there’s ample content on Eat Drink or Die that’s informative. No spots with Mario Batali or Gordon Ramsey or Rachel Ray from what we can gather, but suffice to say that the video personalities presented through the website know their foodstuffs. From cheese to chickens to vegetarian concoctions, the chefs and daily tip-givers seem to know what they’re hawking. So, if anything, you can pilot your own pots and pans in ways reminiscent of the culinary engineers on Eat Drink or Die and trust that what results from your imitations is, if accurately done, will be edible, to say the least.
The site’s design is actually very appealing. Everything is visual, as with most things nutritional, and you get quick access to a variety of channels. Dairy items to salads to beverages to birds to things that better your health, Eat Drink or Die has most of the essentials covered. And if you’re interested in something to read while waiting for your stove timer to ring its final tune, a number of blogs may do the trick.
