We ain't afraid of no limited soft drink releases.

Rejoice, Ghostbusters die-hard fans. The carbonated-drink gods have cleared a space for you and confirmed the rumors: Hi-C Ecto Cooler is back.

The original beverage was connected to the animated series, The Real Ghost Busters and was embraced so tightly it almost got the life squeezed out of it. Sadly, the phenomenon of a soft drink did leave us in 1997, when the hit beverage was discontinued for the indefinite future.

Recently, a can (that's right, it's no longer in the paper box) of the EctoCooler surfaced on eBay, in all its slime-green glory, though the official re-release has yet to be announced.

The drink has cycled through many lives and has taken on new reincarnations, such as being sold at stands popping up at New York Comic-Con and a Twitter account dedicated to Ecto Cooler's revival.
