This could be understood both as a compliment and as an insult, depending on how much you enjoy Ed Sheeran's music.

The British musician tops the list of songs that Spotify listeners are most likely to add to sleep-themed playlists, the streaming service said Monday.

Spotify analyzed 2.8 million of these playlists, and found that Sheeran's single "Thinking Out Loud" tops the list of most streamed sleep songs, both in the U.S. and globally. The song is one of seven on the service's "Most-Streamed Sleep Songs Globally" playlist, including "The A Team" and "I See Fire."

The list also features Sam Smith, the second most popular artist on sleep playlists, as well as songs featured on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack. "Earned It" by The Weeknd seems like less a "sleep" song as it is a definite "bedroom" song, but that's just us.
