KFC, best known as purveyors of breaded, salty chicken in buckets, is partnering with Seattle’s Best Coffee to release an edible coffee cup.

The future is now.

Called a "Scoff-ee" -- which, gosh that's a terrible name, you guys -- the edible coffee holders are essentially cup-shaped cookies, lined with white chocolate. The paper around the cup is made of sugar and is also edible.

Michael Keaton had a similar idea in 1982.

The cups were created by food scientists from the Robin Collective. A spokesperson for that company told Metro UK that they'd infused different aromas into each cookie cup as well, including "coconut sun cream, freshly cut grass and wild flowers."

Because when I think fried chicken, I think an edible coffee cookie cup that smells like grass.

There's no word yet on whether or not these Frankenstein cups will make it to the United States, but they're scheduled to arrive in U.K. locations in time for this summer.
