Eid al-Fitr, also known as the "Feast of Breaking the Fast," is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. It is a three-day worldwide festival that started on Monday this year.

The holiday begins with revelers waking up before sunrise, brushing their teeth, taking showers, and then putting on their best clothes. After the Eid prayer, family and friends celebrate together, while children are given small gifts and treats.
