Fox is gearing up to present a new awards show dedicated to electronic music on April 23, according to Variety. The network is pairing with TV4 Entertainment and artist Paul Oakenfold. Like any awards show, the Electronic Music Awards will include red carpet coverage, awards presentations and live performances.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of an awards show that finally both recognizes and celebrates, on a primetime platform, one of the biggest music genres in the world today,” Oakenfold said in a statement.

“It’s an honor and a privilege to bring the greatest music in the world to the greatest TV network in the world," executive producer Paul Duddridge said in a statement. "We’re proud to work with the EMAF (Electronic Music Awards Foundation) to raise money and awareness for good causes, while recognizing the work of the artists in the world’s biggest music genre.”

The show itself will be filmed on April 14 at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles.
